Call Me By Your Name

Hi! today i want to talk about one of my favorite    books and movies: Call Me By Your Name By: André Aciman and Director Luca Guadagnino. This film was launched at 2017 and i remember being super exited about it, but i did not saw this film until almost a couple years later in 2019 and i was drawn by it, i love italian culture so it felt like a really comfort movie to me, i love the 80's fashion, the music, the country and the way they lived so much more relax than here. Also i was super exited to watch the actor Timothée Chalamet because he was the youngest actor ever been nominated to a Oscar for best actor in 2018 and i already knew some of his work, also the film won the Oscar for the best adapted screenplay and thta was something i really liked. The first time i saw the film i was heartbroken, i started to see life for a whole different point of view, i felt the sadness about this love story more than anyone before, even when the story they have is so far from myself i was still being able to fell Elio's pain. Is such a precious movie to watch and to be able to put your self and a situation you never have been before and still feel like you were there. This movie is about a 17 year old American/Italian/Jewish boy named Elio Perlman who spent vacations in Crema, Italy. with his mom and dad. His dad was a very important professor so every summer he recive an exchange student to help them with they writing work and papers with everything include, just if they help him with office work and mail. Elio's parents have been doing this for 20 years now, but the year of 1983 when Oliver, a 24 year old Jewish/American scholar spent his summer with them everything changes. This is a bittersweet story about how Elio and Oliver discovered that they have feelings for each other but none of them dears to say. It's a beautiful history about friendship, lust and unrequited love until is not, but none the less it ends up in pain and heartbreak, with not doubt my favorite movie and if the movie is great the book it's just amazing, the way that puts your heart in your sleeve is something a person don't experience everyday. So yes, those are my thoughts about CBYN, i hope you liked reading this and i hope even more that you want to see this wonderful film. Ciao!
